The Tortoise and the Eagle

Story Summary:A tortoise, tired of crawling on the ground, begs an eagle to teach him to fly. The eagle warns him it's impossible, but the tortoise insists. The eagle carries him high into the sky and lets go — and the tortoise falls to his doom.

Moral:Never try to do things that go against your own nature. Be proud of who you are and what you can do.

A Tortoise, lazily blinking his eyes in the sunshine, watched enviously as the eagles soared overhead.

"If only I could fly," he sighed. "I would see the whole world from up there."

He called up to a passing Eagle, "Eagle! Will you teach me to fly?"

Then he let go.

Fast motion shot, [乌龟] falling rapidly through the air, flailing its little legs uselessly, sharp jagged rocks approaching fast from below, motion blur, tragic atmosphere.

The Tortoise flapped his little legs uselessly. Down, down, down he fell, and was dashed to pieces on the rocks below.
