The Fox and the Grapes

Story Summary:A hungry fox spots a bunch of ripe grapes hanging high on a vine and tries again and again to jump up and reach them — but no matter how hard he tries, they are always just out of reach. Finally, he walks away telling himself the grapes were probably sour anyway.

Moral:It's easy to pretend you don't want something you can't have. Be honest with yourself instead of making excuses.
